Thrustmaster Announces Wii Wireless Classic Controller
For all its innovation, there are a couple of annoying aspects to the Wii's controller arrangement, particularly the fact that the Classic Controller needs to be plugged into the Wiimote to work. It's not the end of the world, but having the heavy Wiimote dangling off the Classic Controller, or sitting in one's lap, or mounted underneath with Nyko's Classic Controller Grip (review) is definitely bothersome.
Thrustmaster is now on the scene to offer an alternative. In breaking news today, Thrustmaster has announced the T-Wireless NW gamepad for Wii, a fully wireless Classic Controller alternative. It will communicate with the Wii via a 2.4-GHz wireless dongle that plugs into the Wii's GameCube controller ports to provide 30-feet of wireless range.
The controller itself is housed in a Wii-themed chassis relatively similar in layout to previous Thrustmaster gamepads. The full compliment of buttons found on Nintendo's own Classic Controller will be available. Thrustmaster also added Slow and Turbo buttons for a bit of spice. Thrustmaster is pricing the T-Wireless NW aggressively at $19.99, the same price as Nintendo's semi-wired Classic Controller. It'll be available in October.
Thrustmaster also chose today to premier a new 5-piece combo pack of Wii accessories targeted at holiday buyers new to the console. The T-Megapack NW will include a rubber-gripped steering wheel bracket, a set of the T-Protect NW controller skins (review), and a T-Charge NW (review) battery recharging controller organizer. The T-Megapack NW will also launch in October, priced at $34.99.

MySims DS review
incredibly simple it seemed. Watching people trying to describe it in reviews was always amusing; it's nearly impossible to explain how a game in which all there is to actually do is fish and run errands could possibly be anything other than boring and pointless, and even harder to pinpoint that something that makes it so much more than the sum of its parts. After all, it's a game in which you do nothing much for a few hours a day, over the course of months and years. It makes absolutely no sense.
It's only when you play something like this that you realise how complicated Animal Crossing actually is. MySims could be called a simplified version; it's got the town, the flowers and fishing, the item collecting, clothing customisation and mad inhabitants, but no mortgage, no time sensitivity and, sadly, no Magic Something. Playing it made me appreciate Wild World's depth all the more. I think its secret was that altogether, there actually was an absolute ton of things to do and see; it's just at any given moment in time, only a tiny portion of them were possible.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 Preview
Love them or loathe them, if you were even remotely interested in Wii this time last year there was no way you could have ignored Rayman and his terrifying Rabbid chums. The original game was probably the most high profile Wii launch title except for Wii Sports and Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and although we weren't all that taken with it at the time, it proved to be a big success for Ubisoft.
The sequel, we're happy to report, fixes practically everything we found annoying about the first version and looks set to stand head and shoulders above every other minigame compilation we've played. We visited Ubisoft's Paris studio for some extended hands-on time with Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and came away suitably impressed by the amount of party-loving fun the developers have managed to pack into it.
The biggest change is that it's now an exclusively multiplayer experience. We tested it with a full complement of four players, which is the way almost all of its new minigames are designed to be played.
A handful are hotseat games, in which players take turns, but if there are ever less than four people playing in the rest of them then AI characters will fill in.

Forever Blue Review
Japan Import: Swim lazily over coral reefs, admiring the fish and listening to the soothing/annoying sounds of Hayley Westenra, the Kiwi Charlotte Church. If that's your idea of a good time, then welcome to your New Best Game Ever. If not, have a word with yourself and come back with an attitude readjustment, because you need to forget any preconceptions you may have had. Forever Blue is console psychotherapy, and it's totally brilliant.
It's also a proper game, believe it or not, with missions and objectives. That there's a complete lack of challenge in any of it only adds to its supremely relaxing nature, but you do get a feeling of accomplishment after acing another task or finding a particularly pretty sort of fish.
The old woman of the sea
You play a diver with a massive boat and a chunk of ocean to explore. We picked a female because we didn't really want to get a close-up view of neoprene-clad manbits in the event of a camera malfunction, but the choice is entirely yours. Give her a name (ours is called Nemo) and a hairdo, then jump off the boat and witness an underwater scene that will take your breath away.

Worms: Open Warfare 2 Review
Over the years, Team 17's Worms franchise has really grown into a work all its own, a strategy series that relies just as much on silliness as it does smarts. It may have gotten a little lackluster over the last few releases, thanks its less-than-favorable debut on the Nintendo DS and a few lame-duck 3-D entries. Fortunately, Worms: Open Warfare 2 is one of the best—if not the best—in the series.
The gameplay remains mostly the same as other 2-D entries, as players move around a limited set of playfields and blast enemy worms to kingdom come by whatever means necessary. Various favorite weapons return, including the exploding sheep and the awesome-beyond-words ninja rope. The raging buffalo blowing up everything in its path is a must-use and the new boomerang works wonders for clearing out a field of worms ahead of you.

hm... 900 wii points not bad lah buat game SNK, namun yang jadi masalah adalah besarnya ukuran file game SNK itu lho, sekarang saja Wii gue dah tinggal 500an block

ASH Preview
"I want the staff to do their best until they really turn into ashes," said Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi to Famitsu in Japan recently. The magazine caught up with him to talk about what's new with Mistwalker's DS strategy RPG Archaic Sealed Heat (ASH).
According to Famitsu, the game is a different mix of strategy and role-playing than players usually see. Characters share action points, opening up a variety of options like rushing all at once with one character or moving all three in your party a bit at a time. The controls are menu-based and stylus centric: to move your characters, you draw a path along the grid. For visuals, the developers promise "spectacular" FMV based animation. But all that data has to go somewhere, so ASH will be the first DS game on a two-gigabit cart.

Oblivion Engine Now Available for Wii
Today Emergent Game Technologies, makers of the Gamebryo engine powering popular current games like Oblivion and the upcoming Fallout 3, announced a version of the middleware is now available for the Wii. The engine is designed to speed up the development process by automating actions that are normally time-consuming.
"With the success of Nintendo's Wii console catching much of the industry off guard and offering fresh interactive features, developers need new tools to be able to develop for multiple platforms that offer vastly different capabilities and require different programming techniques," said Geoffrey Selzer, CEO of Emergent. "We are committed to making multiplatform development as painless as possible while still delivering industry leading performance. Gamebryo for Wii simply sets a new standard for middleware designed for this top selling platform. We are very proud to be part of Nintendo's Third Party Tools program."
Gamebryo is already running over 200 games, ranging from massively-multiplayer online titles to casual fare.

33% Pemilik Wii adalah Wanita
Nintendo has reported that 33% of Wii purchasers are Women, while the NPD has claimed that 41% of gamers in the United States are female. According to the report below, girls around the age of 8 to 12 tend to drop out of gaming in the past. Now it seems more young girls will begin to take more of an interest in video games as games like Disney’s High School Musical, Hannah Montana and Disney Princess are set to release on the Wii. Games like EA Playground, My Sims, Smartpants and Boogie are just some of the examples we can expect girls to take an interest in. Other titles that Women will take an interest in is Thrillville and Wii Fit.
Nintendo’s strategy from the beginning was to entice Women and it seems that the Wii will be this generation’s choice for such a market.

Capcom Shares Reach 5 Year High on Games for Wii
Sept. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Capcom Co., the Japanese publisher of the ``Resident Evil'' video-game series, rose to a five-year high on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on expectations sales of titles for Nintendo Co.'s Wii consoles will boost earnings.
Capcom's stock climbed 6.3 percent to 2,855 yen, its highest close since Sept. 26, 2002, compared with a 0.5 percent gain in the benchmark Topix index. The Osaka-based company's shares have risen a total of 14 percent in the past two days.
The company, whose ``Resident Evil'' action game was among the top 10 titles sold in Japan and the U.S. in June, expects annual sales to rise 11 percent as it doubles the number of Wii titles to six. Chief Financial Officer Kazuhiko Abe gave presentations to investors in New York and Boston last week, focusing on new Wii offerings, spokesman Ryosuke Tanaka said.
``Resident Evil's Wii edition has continued to sell well,'' said Jay Defibaugh, an analyst at Credit Suisse Group in Tokyo who rates Capcom shares ``outperform.'' Sales of the game, also known as ``Biohazard'' in Japan, will probably exceed Capcom's shipment target of 620,000 units by March 31, he said.
Capcom's stock has risen 33 percent this year, compared with a 8.8 percent decline in the Topix index.

Ghost Squad Hands On
Light gun shooters haven't always been popular at home, and not just because pointing the gun off-screen to reload sometimes incurs collateral damage ("why is my plant pot in the fire"). Instead it's the old dichotomy of arcade and home - what's brilliantly brief in amongst the slots is bewilderingly insubstantial when your receipt says 39.99.
Making your arcade game work in the home is difficult to do, as SEGA will grimly attest - but SEGA's also one of the best examples of a publisher figuring it out, having delivered OutRun 2006 to universal acclaim. That game offered isolated, untouched arcade versions alongside modified and expanded adaptations that built on what we liked about the coin-op originals without betraying their memory.
Doing the same for a light gun game might seem harder, but Ghost Squad's set-up suggests it could succeed - and the game's Wiimote controls are a surprisingly splendid substitute for the massive assault rifle weaponry hooked up to the game down the pier.
In it, you take control of a member of the Global Humanitarian-Operation and Special Tactics Squad (a backronym that's only outdone by our own sadly non-fictional Serious Organised Crime Agency), and it's up to you and up to three comrades to take down some of those pesky terrorists you hear about on the news. These ones are a bit more successful than ours though, and have managed to do things like smuggle about 48 of themselves onto Air Force One.

DK Jungle Climber
DK Jungle Climber is the sequel to Paon’s first Donkey Kong game, DK King of Swing for Game Boy Advance. Like its predecessor, the game’s mechanics are reminiscent of Clu Clu Land, and control primarily involves use of the shoulder buttons. Unlike its predecessor, the game features Donkey Kong Country-style graphics rather than a cartoon style. In general, Jungle Climber improves upon the unique control of the first game.
The plot of the game is a little odder than most. DK and crew are vacationing on Sun Sun Island. A massive banana is sighted at the top of the island, and a hungry DK goes to retrieve it. It turns out that the giant banana is actually a banana-shaped spaceship piloted by a banana-shaped alien named Xananab. The Kongs learn that King K. Rool is up to no good again and agree to help Xananab defeat the reptilian leader.
Jungle Climber’s key feature is its unique control mechanism. While on the ground, DK can walk much like in a normal platformer, except using L and R to move left and right, but once he leaves the firmament, control is turned on its head. The jungle environments are covered in pegs and peg boards. As DK passes over a peg, pressing L or R will cause him to latch on and begin rotating either left or right. Releasing the button will let DK swing from peg to peg. Grabbing pegs with both hands will let DK charge up for a powerful boost. Once you get the rhythm down, you can make DK swing across the stage from peg to peg quite fast. While its predecessor was played almost entirely with the shoulder buttons, Jungle Climber also introduces the A button into regular play. This button allows DK to perform an attack lunge.

Wii Turun Harga?

Wii:
09/18 - Mercury Meltdown Revolution, menunggu preview/review lagi
10/29 - Battalion Wars 2, sudah pre-order
10/29 - Endless Ocean, menunggu preview/review lagi
11/06 - Medal of Honor Heroes 2, menunggu preview/review lagi
11/12 - Super Mario Galaxy, MUST HAVE!
11/13 - Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, menunggu preview/review lagi
11/13 - Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, sudah pre-order
11/13 - Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, menunggu preview/review lagi
11/19 - Link's Crossbow Training, MUST HAVE!
11/20 - Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, menunggu preview/review lagi
11/20 - Trauma Center: New Blood, sudah pre-order
12/03 - Super Smash Bros. Brawl, MUST HAVE!
DS:
10/01 - The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, MUST HAVE!

Drawn To Life Review
Been looking for a little bit different way to play God, maybe using a little more of your artistic talent?
Well then, let's get your hero Drawn to Life and save that Raposa village! Rapo? Yes, the adorable little rabbit people down there! They need you, the Creator, to save their village from evil Wilfre and the encroaching darkness by filling the Book of Life with awesome drawings.
Be Who You Were Meant to Be
Drawn features a character creation scheme that is pure brillance. You get up to three emissaries and they can be anything you like: a giant robot, a werewolf, a dude with blue skin. You use these hand-drawn emissaries to collect pages of the Book from worlds connected to the village via big gates. Once the fragments of a page are assembled, you can usually clear some of the darkness that is clouding the world by tapping the eternal torch. It may sounds trivial, but it's quite satisfying.
The platforming stages are reminiscent of SNES games like Super Mario World and Aladdin, with plenty of moving platforms, bouncy launch pads, and bonus coin areas. The major difference, of course, is that most of those environmental elements are either drawn completely from scratch or colored in by the player. The instructions might say to draw a boulder, but no one will stop you from making a pizza or a big smiley face instead. Some players may also be reminded of Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse, since your hero has a couple different tool sets to use depending on which world you're in.

Zelda Crossbow Game with Wii Zapper
At E3 2007, Nintendo unveiled the Wii Zapper in fully functioning form. The case, which safely and comfortably houses both the Wii remote and nunchuk, is designed to be held like a traditional light gun without sacrificing the infrared nature of the Wii remote. At E3, Nintendo said it was creating original software that would come packed with the Wii Zapper before the end of the year.
Today, the company made official the details. The Wii Zapper will ship with Link's Crossbow Training on November 19 for only $19.99. It's not Duck Hunt, but for some the unique effort could be even better. We're going to let Nintendo's official description of the title do the talking:

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 Preview
Unlike other shooter franchises, Medal of Honor isn't done with WWII yet. This November EA is releasing Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for PSP and Wii, giving you another shot at Hitler's Nazi Germany. We recently spent some hands-on time with the game so that we could find out why you might consider earning yet another medal of honor.
MoHH2 features a single-player campaign that spans several areas, placing you in control of an American O.S.S. agent. The game has seven missions on the Wii version and six on the PSP's. The Wii game also has Arcade Mode, an on-rails shooter gametype where players just have to point and shoot to play. The mode is designed for use with the Zapper and has been added to the Wii version to lower the barrier of entry into the franchise. It even has a "tip" system that tells players who are doing "really well" that they may want to try moving on to the regular single-player campaign. Or, on the other side of the spectrum, the game will also give a "tip" to players who are sucking at the single-player campaign to try the Arcade Mode

Super Mario Galaxy Update!
Here is the new information regarding next upcoming big title Super Mario Galaxy for Nintendo Wii:
- Luigi, Yoshi, and Princess Peach: Nintendo isn’t telling anyone if these characters appear in the game. They could be in there, they could be playable, or they could be left out entirely. Anything you have heard thus far concerning the appearance of these characters is strictly speculation. (I thought we saw Peach in a scan!?)
- 60 fps
- Nintendo discussed that fact that there are definitely difficult levels in the game. The type of gameplay that requires perfect control over Mario.
- A decision has not been made concerning the WFC as of right now. The idea is still being kicked around, and the capacity is unknown.
- 16:9 (as we have seen)
- A mini-game level appeared that was housed in the “Trial Galaxy”

Game Terbaik DS
Inilah game terbaik pada handheld console DS menurut beberapa member forum VGI, semoga bisa membantu calon calon pemilik DS baru
ournintendo:
1. Mario Kart DS
Game ini dah ngabisin waktu gue banyak banget, dapet banyak temen, bener bener top abis ampe sekarang yang main online pun tetep rame
2. Advance Wars: Dual Strike
200 jam ++ main game strategi, bener bener gak rugi gue beli orinya
3. Tetris DS
pengisi waktu senggang paling asik, tiap kali butuh lawan tinggal main online
fredd__y:
Wario Ware Touched
Jump Ultimate Star...
Rockman ZX
ini alasan gua beli DS pada awalnya
waktu dimainkan emang ga nyesel aku beli DS demi game ini

Low budget vs Wish list
Low budget vs. Wish list are my new issue right now. Two weeks ago I bought a brand new LCD TV using credit payment methods, it automatically cut my gaming budget for the next six months, $130/month! Boy with that much I can get two new Wii games every month and several Virtual Console games or an additional Gamecube game.Normally I spent $70 to $80 every month, now I have to cut half my budget. With plenty of great games coming this late year like The Legend of Zelda: Phantom hourglass, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Trauma Center: New Blood, Battalion Wars 2, Endless Ocean, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Mario & Sonic: The Olympic Games, Ghost Squad and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, how can I NOT resist?
Duh! The only way I can bring my wish list come true is by getting myself a new job with a much... much... better fee. Argh! This is very frustrating! Sigh... well at least I have no regret with my LCD TV now, in fact I’m still very happy and enjoying it every single night playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Guess that I should check monster more often from now on.

Sonic Mega Collection
I have a Wii and I never have a Gamecube before, yeah I know poor me. Now I'm still hunting for several GC titles like RE remake, RE 0, Starfox Assault, Starfox Adventures, Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2.
I've also asked members of Nsiders (thanks a lot guys) what games shoud I get next, They are suggesting me to get Super Smash Bros. Melee, but I personally think this isn't a great choice since this December 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be released, same thing goes with Mario Kart Double Dash.
Many of them are also suggesting me to get Sonic titles, well to be honest I never really love this blue hedgehog before, until I've got Sonic and the Secret Rings for Wii, I say to myself "hey this is fun".

- Five unlockable bonus games including more Knuckles action and some oddities such as Ristar
- Perfect emulation with a few minor improvements

- Tons of extras: high-res art, Sonic CD intro and outro, as well as a history of Sonic
- Some drawbacks to video compression

Carnival Games
It does work sometimes. The underhanded toss of the Skee-Ball game perfectly replicates the actual machine. Those games are fun, but there just isn’t much to them and you’ll feel like you’ve seen everything Carnival Games has to offer after just a few play sessions. Save your money and go to the real fair instead.
